Scotia Grendel Mig-25 Foxbat

As an interceptor this may have limited uses in most wargames, but a nice model none-the-less. Probably should have painted it a lighter grey.

H&R A-10 Warthog

American air support for Team Yankee from Heroics and Ros. The shape looks good and fairly accurate, but there are some bumps and vents absent which leaves the sides and top of the body looking very smooth, but otherwise its pretty good. I bought 4 of these, a few of them had a fair bit of flash around the engines and one of them was a bit miscast, but as it was on the bottom It didnt bother me too much. Overall its pretty good, but not as nice as their Frogfoot model imo.

H&R F-22 Raptor

Not Cold War or Team Yankee but would work for a modern scenario in games like FFoT. Looks nice when painted, but the model is quite plain and there isnt really much detail on the top, not that the F-22 has all that much, but there are little vents and stuff on top and it would have been nice to have some panels to highlight. The angles of the air intakes next to the nose did look slight different too, but 2 minutes of filing and they were fine.

Heroics and Ros F117 Stealth

Classic Gulf War plane that everyone liked as a kid because it was black, cool and had "stealth" in the name, introduced in early 83 so still suitable for Cold-war-gone-hot scenarios. The edges are a little soft and the whole plane looks a little smooth compared to the angular monster that is the real aircraft, but on the whole a nice model.
The weapon loadout of the F117 isnt very close to the A-10 (a single GBU-27 Paveway III compared to several AGM-65 Maverick and the BRRRT-gun), so I'm not sure how well it would work as a proxy in Team Yankee.

Scotia Grendel McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II

A pair of Scotia Grendel F-4 Phantom II, Kurnass, Peace Pheasants, Peace Rhine or whatever else it has been named by the countries it is in service with. Again, very nice model, had some minor pitting on the side but other than that its all good. No weapons as with most of Scotia's aircraft, but that's not a deal-breaker for me.

Heroics and Ros Hind Mi-24P

Two Hinds from Heroics and Ros. I kind of ordered the wrong version again and think I bought the Mi-24P rather than the Mi-24D, but nevermind. Proportions seem ok, detail is generally pretty good but gets a bit rough in places, engines not entirely symmetrical and it was pretty hard to pick out the glass panels on the cockpit. Does come with some weapons though which was nice, also came with 2 sets of perfectly nice white metal rotors, which aren't shown as I'll be using acrylic discs instead. Pretty nice for £3.50, but not quite as good for the money as either H&Rs other or Scotia aircraft imo.

Scotia Grendel A-4 Skyhawk

Tail was a little rough and I didn't do an especially good job of filing it down, but other than that a nice model. Bought 2 of these guys and Im planning to use them as a proxy for A-10s when Im running my guys as USMC.

H&R Frogfoot

A pair of Frogfoots(?) from Heroics and Ros, a little more expensive than Scotia Grendels planes but not massively so, and Scotia don't do an SU-25 afaik. [edit: Scotia now do an SU-25] Could have done with some weapons though.

Collectair Aircraft

The Mig and F-15 plus some of Scotia other aircraft, the Me262, Dornier Do 335 Pfeil and Me329. All nicely cast with good detail for the price imo

Scotia Grendel F-15 Eagle

Scotia Grendel F-15 Eagle, pretty large model for only £1.50, detail looks good and you get a nice large canvas for any modulation you want have a go at. No decals on it because I dont have any.

Scotia Grendel Collectair Mig29

Plane from Scotia (base not included) Doesnt seem quite symmetical from/at the front/nose and the detail is quite light, but overall pretty nice. (I cant comment as to the accuracy of the model, I dont really do planes)
