Modern day Russian tank from Heroics and Ros.
Detail is nice and chunky, highlights and would probably drybrush really well. Turret is perhaps a little tall? But otherwise a great model.
Cold war era miniatures in 6mm / 1:300 scale.
I basically started this blog because 6mm manufacturers often dont have especially good (or any) photos of their stuff, which is a shame because a lot of it is really great.
This is my attempt to alleviate that a bit, so anyone interested in 6mm can have a look, and to try and do the models themselves justice.

H&R T-80 ERA
Really great models from H&R, perhaps a tad on the small side, but the casting is crisp, especially on the ERA bricks, tracks are good.
Not present in TY but I'll probably buy more anyway, really nice mini.
Scotia Grendel T-64 ERA
Nice model of an up-armoured T-64, greatly prefer this to Scotias regular version of the same vehicle.
ERA bricks are nicely cast, but some are very shallow and require highlighting in places to pick up any detail, drybrushing will not work on the front hull for example.
Nice mini for 6mm TY, even if Phil wont give us ERA-equipped T-64s.
M1A1 Command Tank
Scotia M1A1 Abrams modified so I can recognise it as an HQ/command tank at tabletop distance.
Again a nice model, the M1A1 has a larger, separate cupola MG than the regular M1s, im not sure why that is.
Team Yankee Americans
Got some of the US stuff painted up, we've got the M1 Abrams, the M109A2 and some M113s, all from Scotia Grendel. I'll go into more detail later and perhaps photograph them on a better backdrop instead of lazily plonked on my wet-pallet, but this should give you a general idea of what they're like for now.
Scotia Grendel T-64
Not currently present in Team Yankee but would probably perform like, and work fine proxied as a T-72.
Quite shallow/soft detail on this one (so I doubt drybrushing would work all that well) but generally a nice model
Scotia Grendel T-62
Another tank that isnt technically in TY yet, although I suppose you could run them as T-55AM2s. I really like this model, details good, castings clean, just a shame they'll probably never see the table.
Scotia Grendel T-80U
Not present in Team Yankee, I just bought a bunch of these for fun, although I suppose you could use them as a command vehicle so they stand out from the rest of your team. Not quite as nice as the T-72s imo, but the ERA panels look good if you pick them out and the little MG is a nice touch.
Scotia Grendel T72M and T72
Mandatory Soviet tank for Team Yankee from Scotia Grendel.
T72M has sideskirts which are nice, T72 lacks them so you can create a bit of a mixed look within a unit which I like.
Heavily highlighted rather than drybrushed as I feel they look better at tabletop distance this way, plus it helps prevent any shallower details getting lost.
